About Computing Services
History
Computing Services was formed in 1991, just when Microsoft
Windows was starting to become the de-facto operating system on PC's
here in the UK. Computing Services started with a limited portfolio,
creating databases using dBase and Paradox, (at that time only
available as DOS versions) and providing end-user training in Lotus
1-2-3 and
Microsoft Word and Excel. Since that time we have dropped support
for dBase, Paradox and Lotus 1-2-3 (due to a fast diminishing user base) and now
concentrate on providing customised solutions in the Microsoft
Office suite of products, providing end-user training in the MS Office suite,
developing databases and web sites,
and supporting users with Windows Small Business Server.
Mission
To make your life with a computer a little less frustrating by
tailoring applications and systems to fit your requirements, and
training you in the topics you need to know in order to do your job
effectively.
